This month on the blog is love yourself month as a part of the 12 month self improvement plan! Join us every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for never ending inspiration!  Today we’ll be chatting about positive affirmations for self love.

 

The mind is a powerful thing, it can make you or break you! This is why we can’t afford to have negative self loathing thoughts. Right now, I want you to think about yourself, what thoughts come up automatically? Were they positive or negative? For many of you, your thoughts were probably negative and that’s truly a shame… Why is it so much easier to think negatively about one’s self than positive; especially as a woman… I’d know, sometimes it can be a daily battle! And that’s why today, we’ll be combating these negative thoughts with helpful affirmations to promote self love.
These affirmations are designed to give positive reinforcement to the mind. Negative self hatred based thoughts equal a life filled with self hatred. We don’t want that! So here are:

 

15 Positive Affirmations for Self Love

I love myself unconditionally
I am worth loving
I am beautiful
Right now at this very moment I accept myself 
I am free to express myself to the world
I can do anything
I am happy
I am positive and my positivity affects others
I am a leader not a follower
I treat my body like a temple
I am free from what people think of me
I don’t fear anyone or anything
I am the best me there is, I don’t have to compare myself to other people.
I am worthy
I am me
Let’s train our minds with the words that we speak. In the beginning, you may feel like you’re just saying a bunch of bull poopy, but in time, these affirmations will become a part of your belief.
Feel free to add more affirmations that apply to you! Say your affirmations daily when you first wake up or before you go to bed. Feel free to say them in the mirror. Speak slow and steady and listen to what you’re saying. Pause in between each affirmation and take a deep breath in as if you’re breathing in the words. In time, you’ll become exactly who you want to be if you truly believe!
